The Uncertain/Bad News first: We got up this morning with intentions of heading up to Billings and literally just before we left we noticed our 'baby', Tuffy, kept trying to dig in the litter box and would act like he was going to poop, but nothing! (Side note: 2 nights ago he had the runs and we had to clean him up from it, but didn't think anything of it because he's had this happen to him before) After he jumped out of the litter box he started this horrible meow and trying to beat up on both Tiger and Buddy, then hid in the corner of the trailer meowing like he was in pain. When we got ahold of him, he had a matted blob of poop in his hair covering his entire butt so much so that he couldn't go to the bathroom if he wanted to! We tried to get it off but he fought us and cried so loudly that we knew it wasn't something we could do ourselves. We gobbled him up and rushed into Powell to the Vet's office. They said they would give him something to sedate him, would shave that area so he was clear, then go from there. It was ~ 7:45am when we dropped him off and it's now ~11:30am with no word yet... hoping no news is good news.
For those of you who have met my cats, know that they are not normal! They are extensions of our family! I'm hopeful that everything will be ok, but I'll keep you all posted.
Now the good news - yesterday we got back both our building permit and our septic permit! We are going to be breaking ground on our house next week. We need to head into Billings to get all our foundation materials and are waiting to hear back from the guy that's going to put in our septic tank, but that's where we are right now. Looks like we will be pretty busy next week!
