Driving into Powell - lots of pictures

View on our drive into Powell (~30 min drive)

Today we have some of the most beautiful clouds! It finally cleared up, although still chilly outside, but at least the sun is shining and the skies aren't gray.

These first 2 pictures are of the Beartooth Mountain Range - you can see all the snow on them.  It has been rainy/snowy here for the last week and the mountains are even more snow covered than they were a week ago.  It's a little cloudy/foggy out up by the mountains, so there isn't a clear view of them, but I couldn't resist taking a few pictures.

The pictures below are on the way into Powell.  Here the terrain is basically flat grazing land, but off in the distance there are these beautiful mountains that remind me of pictures I've seen of AZ and NM.  The further we drive, the closer we got to them.  We were driving when I took these pictures, but sometime soon we are going to stop and get much better pictures to share with everyone.

You know how your side mirrors say 'objects in mirror are closer than they appear', well I feel that all the pictures I take should have a statement that says 'objects in pictures are actually much closer than the picture shows'.
